Using the USB-C and 3.5 mm audio cables
You can use the USB-C to USB-C audio cable or the 3.5 mm audio cable to listen to lossless audio on your Beats
Solo 4. Using the 3.5 mm audio cable to listen doesn’t require a battery, so if your Beats Solo 4 headphones are
out of charge, you can still enjoy all-day playback.
Pair your Beats Solo 4
If you turn your headphones on and the indicator light turns on but doesn’t flash, your headphones are already
paired with a device. In that case, follow these steps to connect your headphones to a different device.
Pair your Beats Solo 4 with an iPhone or iPad
1. With Bluetooth enabled on your iPhone or iPad, press the power button on your Beats Solo 4 for 3 seconds.
2. Hold your Beats Solo 4 within 2 inches of your unlocked iPhone or iPad, and follow the instructions on your
iPhone or iPad.
Pair your Beats Solo 4 with a Mac, an Android device, or another device
1. With Bluetooth enabled on your Mac or other device, press the power button on the left ear cup until the light on
the right ear cup flashes white.
2. Select your Beats Solo 4 from the list of discovered Bluetooth devices.

Play Music
To play music, use the “b” button on the left ear cup.
To pause or play a track, press once.
To skip to the next track, press twice. To play the previous track, press three times.
